In December I tried out for the Missouri All State Orchestra and MADE IT. I went down to Lake of the Ozarks (specifically Tan-Tara) on a Wednesday afternoon, and then spent the next couple of days vigorously practicing with the orchestra, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So much fun! it was a great experience. (I play upright bass, for those who are wondering...) (and i was 5th chair :) )
I'm a junior in high school, so of course I have been looking at colleges :) I've narrowed it down to a couple, with more updates imminent. With my criteria, (Christian college, engineering program, orchestra) I've found a few. I have a college visit coming up on the 15th, at Oklahoma Christian University. I'm so excited! I looked at it online, liked how it looked, but we'll see if I still want to go there after the visit! Another one I'm looking at is Cedarville University, in Ohio. The campus is really pretty (well on the website), and it's engineering program looks pretty good, being a private Christian college. The last one is Missouri S&T, which isn't a christian college, (it's public), but its close to home, and they have a really good engineering program. I'll try to bring updates!
I got my prom dress awhile ago :) it's super pretty, haha. I'm just super excited. I'll post a picture :)
