Hot Summer Days..

It's been awhile. I know. Sorry..? I don't know whether or not to apologize since I'm sure no one even reads this..Oh well! Well, my summer so far has been GREAT!

1. I went on a cruise (With my family) with Royal Caribbean shortly after school ended, which was a ton of fun! We were on the Liberty of the Seas. Fancy, I know. Cruises are an interesting experience. I think what I loved the most was when you were cruising in the middle of the ocean, and I was able to forget about everything at home and just relax.  Being secluded like that is just..nice. Obviously it felt good to go home, but after school was over, I was just ready to LEAVE. Anyways, so we stopped in Philipsburg, St. Maarten, San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Labadee, Haiti.  Philipsburg was quite small, and we didn't get to do much shopping, but it was neat to be in a foreign country for the first time.  It was hot, and humid, but I liked it :). Our next stop, Puerto Rico, was where the majority of the shopping was.  There were shops everywhere! They even had a Marshall's, what a riot! Our last stop, in Haiti, was...interesting.. It was basically this spot on the Island that Royal Caribbean had bought out, so it was like you weren't in Haiti...but you were.. The only thing to do there was either lay out or get in the water.. Well, that's a lie.  They had a zip line, which I really wanted to do, but it was expensive!! We also wanted to try to do snorkeling, (We had tried in St. Maarten but the visibility was zero when we had to go so we just got a refund) but it was full :(. So, therefore, going to the beach it was.  The water was amazing! Warm, and clear, very refreshing.  The shopping in Puerto Rico and St. Maarten was 3 major things; Cheesy t-shirts, alcohol/drugs, and watches/diamonds.  And they were basically the same shops over and over again. But, I still loved going to the different countries.OH. and, in Puerto Rico, we went on a tour of the city, and our tour guide knew like, everything. It was awesome.  The capitol building was made completely of marble! It was beautiful...
On the ship, there was sooo much to do! There was a casino, obviously, some shops, places to eat, a movie theater, an ice skating rink, the wave rider thing, shows to go to, etc... Dinner was neat.  We sat with another family of five, like our own, who we got along with well and had fun talking with and sharing what we did each day.  Our waiter, Aliston, was cool and showed us magic tricks each night ;D.  The meals were good, you got an appetizer, main course, and dessert.  (Dinner was included when you booked to go on the cruise).  I'm sure everyone gained some weight after that for 7 days.. Ha! I loved the cruise, I would definitely recommend everyone to go on a cruise at least once in their life, or whenever they get the chance!

2. I had summer school this summer....No, I didn't fail a class, (I had all A's and 1 B, thank you very much...stupid Language Arts...) At my school we are required 1 credit of gym or PE, and if you take a summer class that counts as 1/2 a credit. I took a Personal Fitness and Wellness, or PFW class last year, and this year I took Team Sports.  It was pretty fun, actually, we basically just played games all day, and you didn't have to be good at them. (All day = 8:30 to 11 am.) Anyways, I ended that class with a B (Missed 2 days, one because I was getting back from the cruise on the first day and 2 was I just didn't want to go.. haha :D) and a hurt knee :( I was running and got tagged, so I was stopping, put all my weight on one of my legs to stop it, and jammed my knee..? Imagine jamming a finger, but your knee. Not fun! It still hurts (Hurt it like 2 weeks or so ago..) and I'm probably gonna go get it checked out again... :(

3.  I went to go visit one of my friends in California last week! That was so much fun! She moved to California last year because her dad had gotten a job there. I was so sad when she moved.. But it was fun to stay for a week and see where she lived and meet her friends!  We got there on a Wednesday night and stayed till Friday a week later.  The Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we were there, she was having a family reunion.  That was fun, since we hung out with people, and went to the beach and stuff.  On Monday, we went to see Inception, good movie, and made ya think.  Then, we went and ate dinner on the pier, that was fun and delicious! On Tuesday, we went to Knottsberry Farm, and me being the Roller Coaster fanatic that I am , loved it! Favorite ride was Xcelerator...I love launch-y rides :) After that, we were STARVING so we went to this place called Rip Tide, which was like... a Sho-gun, know that restaurant, (You sit at a table with the grill in the middle and they make a show out of cooking your food..) but, it had a sushi bar, so we sat there.  I'm not much of a sushi person, so I ordered from the other menu, and got the scallops plate.. It was DELICIOUS. And it had some of the best fried rice I have ever had! :) so good! On Wednesday, we went to  San Diego and shopped there, and that was cool :D and on Thursday, we just kinda chilled and played some Rock Band.. And we ate at In and Out Burger. YUM. I recommend that place. Cheap and yummy! I was sad to leave on Friday, but i needed to go home to take care of business...

And now, Things i'm worried about! yay!

1. I NEED to get my license...I'm scared though...At night I lay there and think about every single terrible situation that could possible happen to me while I'm driving. It's not fun...

2. School is starting soon :( Which means Field Hockey is starting, which means I need to get a new stick, and a physical, and I need to save money for school supplies.  I also worry about not knowing anyone in my classes, which is sad..I also need to apply for my parking pass..AGH.

3. I really need to practice my bass.. I'm terrible about practicing, so therefore I don't really get any better..but I feel I just don't have the patience to practice! I try and lose interest within the first 10 minutes. :(

Ok lets stop worrying...YAY.
